Immensely grateful for the opportunity to speak at the North Shore Women Connect 1 st Annual Women’s Empowerment Conference: Overcoming Barriers on Friday, March 8, 2024 – international women’s day!
I shared the story of my journey from conformity to authenticity. It was an inspiring day with lots of laughter and some tears too, but it was all good and so empowering!
The journey of coming out to family, friends, and co-workers was akin to pruning away dead branches of the garden of my intuitive self. Fear, anger, shame, rejection, and mockery were the thorns I had to navigate but the wounds healed. The heart-opening experience of breaking free was worth it. It felt like the first rays of sunlight piercing through the dense canopy.
Now, as I prepare to launch the Apollo Sunrise Center, I envision the garden of my intuitive self transforming into a flourishing oasis—a place where authenticity blooms and inspires others to embark on their journey of self-discovery.
Reflect on your own garden, tend to the unique flowers within, and remember that beneath the layers, a vibrant and authentic landscape awaits.
